A New Blogger for the Passion & Histoire Brand

Michelle Gervais

With the recent work put into repositionning tourism in Manitoba and the establishment of a new place brand for Saint-Boniface (Passion & Histoire Saint-Boniface), francophone and Métis tourism is now settling in and taking its place at the heart of the province.

Organizations are collaborating on a new francophone tourism strategy. Tourisme Riel, charged with marketing the urban francophone region (Saint-Boniface, Saint-Vital & Saint-Norbert) has taken into account the vital role that social media plays as a vehicle to better present the region to a broad spectrum of travelers. We are therefore proud to announce a new partnership with a French blogger that now calls Manitoba home.

A French teacher in a past life, Kenza Zaoui, 30, from Paris, travelled the world and chose to settle in Manitoba 3 years ago. She drinks tea and tells of her adventures on her blog, Cups of English Tea, since 2011.

“I can’t wait to make the world discover the riches and specificities of Saint-Boniface and the Franco-Manitoban culture!” says Kenza.

There is no better way to present Saint-Boniface to various markets than through the eyes of an adopted Franco-Manitoban who shares her discoveries and love for the province with her readers.

A partnership with Travel Manitoba and the La Liberté newspaper will see Kenza’s blogs shared throughout their networks.

We would like to invite our readers to follow Kenza’s adventures on the Passion & Histoire blog. Her first discoveries will begin at the Festival du Voyageur in February and will continue till the francophone celebration of Manitoba 150th in September.
