A New Edition of the Manitoba Francophone Book Festival

From September 15 to 26, 2026, Francophone literature will take center stage through a program featuring educational activities, a two-day book fair, literary events, author meet-and-greets, and a roundtable discussion titled “Step Away from Screens, Dive into Books,” dedicated to the challenges of reading among young people and the links between reading, development, and well-being.

The highlight of the event will be the Book Fair on September 19 and 20, which will bring together authors, children’s and adult publishers, cultural organizations, and book lovers united by a common goal: to introduce people to the richness of Francophone literature and to share the joy of reading.

With this new initiative, the Maison Gabrielle-Roy aims to help make books a space for connection, imagination, and knowledge-sharing, while strengthening the vitality of Manitoba’s Francophone community.
