It\u2019s hard to give you a definitive answer because we have to follow the government\u2019s evolving health restrictions but there are still a lot of things to do and see, maybe just in different ways!\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"description\" class=\"row block-sm\">\n<div class=\"col-xl-10 col-lg-10 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-12 mx-auto\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Culture<\/h3>\n<p>Culture has not been cancelled and the Centre culturel franco-manitobain (Franco-Manitoban Cultural Centre) is continuing its mission of organizing cultural activities. There are jazz concerts every other Tuesday, the Manitoban Improvisation League shows Fridays, and if you prefer the cinema, the Cin\u00e9mental francophone film festival takes place the last two weekends of October.\u00a0 This list of events is not exhaustive, so check out the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ccfm.mb.ca\/\">CCFM\u2019s new website<\/a>\u00a0for more!<\/p>\n<p>Fort Gibraltar has closed for the season but you can visit the site\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortgibraltar.com\/en\/360-tour\/\">virtually<\/a>.\u00a0 And the question that\u2019s on everyone\u2019s minds is will we have a Festival du Voyageur this winter?\u00a0 The answer is yes!\u00a0 The programming hasn\u2019t yet been revealed but the Festival knows how to surprise us and reinvent itself.\u00a0 It\u2019s expected to take place February 12 &#8211; 21 2021.\u00a0 While you wait, you can take a look at videos and pictures and of course\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.passionethistoire.ca\/en\/articles\/passion-histoire-blog-le-festival-du-voyageur\">my article<\/a>\u00a0to relive the 2020 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Saint-Boniface Museum is open to the public, free of charge and without reservations on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm, on Friday and Saturday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, and on Sunday from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The Franco-Manitoban author\u2019s house is worth a visit. You\u2019ll discover how her birthplace in Saint-Boniface is shown in her work, the important role she played in the patrimony of Canadian literature and the resemblance she bears to French author Colette.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s not all. The Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Cercle Moli\u00e8re continues to innovate with online shows, cooking workshops and videos on the whole creation process, from the onset to makeup.\u00a0Every Tuesday through to Saturday, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, the Royal Canadian Mint offers guided tours on its state-of-the-art facilities and how they produce coins for over 75 countries worldwide.\u00a0The Maison des artistes visuels francophones is proposing as usual two exhibitions, one in the main gallery and one in the studio, from Wednesday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n<h3>Shopping and Food<\/h3>\n<p>I promise to provide you shortly with a list of local shops from which to do your Christmas shopping but in the meantime, you can learn more about four of Saint-Boniface\u2019s unmissable stops:\u00a0 Bothwell Cheese Shop, \u00c0 la page bookstore, the Norwood Florist, and Caf\u00e9 Postal in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.passionethistoire.ca\/en\/articles\/passion-histoire-blog-4-shops-to-treat-yourself\">this article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also suggest stopping in at La Belle Baguette or Le Croissant for a tasty pastry.\u00a0 The restaurant Dwarf No Cachette serves delicious Japanese food and Inferno\u2019s, much like Resto Gare, are my favourite restaurants for special occasions. For these three restaurants, you can dine in, order for pickup, or have it delivered safely to your door.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/daL_V01JkE-fdGRP-isNJE5Fw2Uu4gGwioa9UiCpheg_XqBMOy9vKklnZ5s7Fid04nb9jE3bm7uhojk-5PJ0yZD61EYWRH-Lk4vI_AhMDKYaQbUD9TlFz1Op4ZCdYWfZPKu0Pp3Z\" \/><\/figure>\n<h3>Walks<\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s always possible and encouraged to take a stroll around Saint-Boniface, a coffee in hand.
