Some will be online and available the whole month of October while others will be in person. Here\u2019s what\u2019s happening!\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"description\" class=\"row block-sm\">\n<div class=\"col-xl-10 col-lg-10 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-12 mx-auto\">\n<p>Covid-19 restrictions may change and the programming of these different events is subject to change accordingly.\u00a0 Before heading out, we recommend that you contact the organizations and check on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/culturedays.ca\/en\">Culture Days website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Theatre at the Cercle Moli\u00e8re Theatre<\/h3>\n<p>The Urban Indigenous Theatre Company (UITC) created its own show \u201cPerceptions\u201d as a multidisciplinary performance \u201cbecause we are all people with multiple facets.\u00a0 What you perceive, enlightened by a life of experience, isn\u2019t necessarily me.\u00a0 I am intestines, veins, and tendons sewn together like string.\u00a0 Come see for yourselves. That\u2019s what the AAMF (Association of French Manitoban Authors) is promising in collaboration with Les \u00c9ditions du Bl\u00e9 and the Maison des artistes visuels francophones.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/aamf.manitoba\/videos\/3240379889372280\/\">The event video<\/a>\u00a0is already available on the AAMF\u2019s Facebook page.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/zLil7SqKqj0C9fPwrzoCp2UAb-gu5VeJ92IIIRRuFqmiBBv2Mk3YOtRhhbJaOjXv7tmp1RE5r54OIMloBRvSk_gD934VQkYVoJY1MEQTOXk9KPpUxn_0qAy7F3k4bgWhZXiuXzmZ\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><strong>An Art Contest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Manitoba Society of artists is hosting a virtual expo with the proposed theme of \u201cManitoba Muse Art Show\u201d where 61 artists are presenting 143 works.\u00a0 The program will feature prairies, polar bears, northern lights, but that\u2019s not all!<\/p>\n<p>You can see all of the pieces in the competition on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/msaojce.com\/\">MSA website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exhibitions\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Maison des artistes visuels francophones that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.passionethistoire.ca\/en\/articles\/passion-histoire-blog-art-in-saint-boniface-la-maison-des-artistes-visuels-francophones\">I wrote about a few weeks ago<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.passionethistoire.ca\/fr\/articles\/blog-passion-histoire-de-l-art-a-saint-boniface-la-maison-des-artistes-visuels-francophones\">\u00a0<\/a>welcomes two exhibitions in October:\u00a0 \u201cJe suis ici\u201d by James Culleton and \u201cLa dur\u00e9e\u201d by Janine-Annette Littmann.\u00a0 In the first, a series of works representing what the artist sees, and where he\u2019s going.\u00a0 In the second, we find embroidery and cyanotypes.<\/p>\n<p>The Maison des artistes visuels francophones is open to the public at 219 Provencher Blvd. Wednesday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Visitors must wear a mask and there is a maximum of 10 people allowed in the gallery at a time.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/rLE_85HlKMuDBRYZREFZDc4DkbJT5D3R7jfxyNr_g25rPq6gohuJcppcsgydJzCcwy2TG38aEc3-hF4vqIAttpjLoylPBPlJ7c3FcacBZfOdWVyPgS7zwpY7P_dYYXNJiXHoJrEI\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Music<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, October 7, from 12 noon to 1:00 pm, the hall and entrance of the Saint-Boniface Hospital will be filled with the sound of soloist Kathleen Hiley and students from the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra.\u00a0 The Landscape Dancers dance troop, socially distanced with masks on, will also be performing.<\/p>\n<p>The Saint-Boniface Hospital is located at 409 Tach\u00e9 Avenue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Litterature\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u00c9ditions du Bl\u00e9 is also participating in Culture Days with a t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate between two Franco-Manitoban authors, in collaboration with the Historic Society of Saint-Boniface, the CCFM, the LGBTQ Collective of Manitoba and the Association of French Manitoban Authors.\u00a0 It will be Bernard Mulaire in conversation with J.R.
