And even if summer 2020 won&#8217;t be exactly like the others, it will still be possible to enjoy it &#8211; all while respecting public health recommendations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How can you enjoy your summer in Saint-Boniface? I&#8217;ve prepared a list of activities, whether in person or virtual, and things to do in the neighbourhood all summer!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>VIRTUAL EVENTS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Saint-Boniface Celebrates &#8211; June 24\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For St John the Baptist Day June 24th, head to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.passionethistoire.ca\/en\/articles\/passion-histoire-blog-a-summer-like-no-other\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0or Youtube for a great concert live at 7:00 p.m. Laura Lussier will be the host of this virtual assembly and you&#8217;ll be able to applaud performances from Daniel Lavoie, Lisa Leblanc, J\u00e9r\u00e9mie &amp; the Delicious Hounds, Kelly Bado and Candace Lipischake.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saint-Boniface Celebrates Canada Day &#8211; July 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even if in front of a screen, Canada Day deserves a celebration! From 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Barney Morin will host live on Tourisme Riel&#8217;s Youtube page, a July 1st unlike any other with a tour of Saint-Boniface with Barney Morin and guests like Madame Diva, Andrina Turenne, Hakim Moussaoui and Justin Lacroix.<\/p>\n<p>To watch the event, follow\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GhMpoWQjBOs\">this link.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>MUSEUMS AND CULTURE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maisongabrielleroy.mb.ca\/\"><strong>Maison Gabrielle Roy House<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0open to the public Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortgibraltar.com\/fr\/\"><strong>Fort Gibraltar\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>not yet open<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ccfm.mb.ca\/\"><strong>Ccfm<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>open<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/maisondesartistes.mb.ca\/\"><strong>La Maison des Artistes Visuels<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Open as of July 1st from Wednesday to Sunday<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/msbm.mb.ca\/\"><strong>St Boniface Museum\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>open by reservation for an hour-long visit every day in June between 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. No reservation necessary after July 6th.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>TOURS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Guided walking tours:\u00a0<\/strong>come discover the history of Saint-Boniface by foot for about 1hr 15min, every day at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. as of June 29th.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Culinary tours:\u00a0<\/strong>The plan is to resume culinary tours in August;\u00a0follow\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bonappetitstb.ca\/\"><strong>BonAppetitStB.ca<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>RESTAURANTS \/ FOOD<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Saint-Boniface isn&#8217;t a neighbourhood where one goes hungry. In fact, the restaurants are open and waiting for you. You can walk along the Great Trail that runs alongside the river on Tach\u00e9 Ave, just in time to see one of those magical prairie sunsets over the Red River and the Esplanade Riel.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You can bring a picnic to Whittier Park or Provencher Park and enjoy the grass beneath your feet.
