Saint-Boniface: a neighbourhood filled with patios and opportunities to live a unique culinary experience. Here are a few options to take advantage of being outside this summer!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Patio 340<\/span><\/h3>\n

Patio 340, Saint-Boniface’s new cultural pop-up bar, is the latest innovation from the CCFM (Franco-Manitoban Cultural Centre). On the east side of the centre, the parking lot was reduced to create a lovely outdoor space (it\u2019s 14,000 square feet!), turning it into a safe and friendly environment to listen to live music, have a drink, and truly take advantage of the summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the available drinks are Canadian-made, to reduce their carbon footprint and support the local economy. The bar carries a beer from Kilter, a brewery found in the heart of Saint-Boniface, and \u201cLa Saint-B\u201d from La Shoppe Brewery; they are two of many options on the menu!<\/span><\/p>\n

Wondering what your food options are? Stella\u2019s au CCFM has you covered. They teamed up with Patio 340 to offer you a bite to eat, you can order at the designated stand, or right from your seat using the QR code and your cellphone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s always live music to listen to, from the DJ\u2019s to live bands on stage. Check out the line up on <\/span>their website<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this is a pop-up bar which means it won\u2019t be around forever\u2026 I hope it\u2019ll make a comeback next summer!<\/span><\/p>\n

Bon App\u00e9tit Saint-Boniface : A historical culinary tour<\/span><\/h3>\n

A glimpse of history, a story-telling guide, and a full-course meal, that’s what makes up the <\/span>Bon App\u00e9tit Saint-Boniface<\/span><\/a> culinary tour. Every Wednesday evening, from August 11th to September 22nd, \u00d4 Tours offers a guided walking culinary tour. <\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the evening, from 5:30 pm to 9 pm, the tour takes you through the neighbourhood with a professional guide, all the while stopping for an appetizer, a main course, a dessert, and two beverages. All costs are included so that the day of, you only have to bring your walking shoes and your appetite for food and knowledge. <\/span><\/p>\n

The tour costs $85 plus tax and service fees per person, and requires a minimum of 8 participants to run. The tour can accommodate up to 15 people, so whether you have something to celebrate or are just looking to try something new, this is a wonderful opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n

You’re sure to never run out of patio ideas when you’re in Saint-Boniface.<\/p>\n

On Provencher Boulevard, there\u2019s Chaise Caf\u00e9, le Garage Caf\u00e9 and the Stella\u2019s au CCFM patio. On Des Meurons Street, you can find the excellent Resto Gare Bistro and Train Car, Dug & Betty’s, as well as Inferno\u2019s Bistro. Moving on to Tach\u00e9 Avenue, where Promenade Caf\u00e9 and Wine opened their own patio right in their parking lot! Finally, along Marion Street there are patios at Pasquale\u2019s, The Wood Tavern \/ Pauline Bistro, and Marion Street Eatery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
