Windsor Park has been home to ski since the 1970’s, and remains a staple for outdoor enthusiasts. The 15 km of trails are groomed daily and lit for night skiing.

2. Visit the Festival du Voyageur

Western Canada’s largest winter festival is a unique ten-day event that celebrates the joie de vivre of Voyageurs from the fur trade era. 

It also showcases French-Canadian culture, traditional cuisine, a host of musical entertainment, and much more. The great winter gathering is held every February, right here in Saint-Boniface!

3. Test your ice climbing skills with the Club d’escalade de Saint-Boniface

Open to the public every Saturday, take your shot at climbing the iconic 20 foot ice tower!  

Trained volunteers will set you up, provide belays and instruction. Harnesses, helmets, ice tools, boots and crampons are available free of charge.
